Chickens and Ducks

We have a wide range of chicken breeds on the farm, some are listed on the Rare Breed Survival Trust watch list  -

These above breeds are available as hatching eggs, chicks and pullets (chicken in her first year of life and has not yet laid her first egg). Cockerels are also available for sale. Please be aware that you may need to place an order 2-8 weeks in advance for specific breeds. This also  depends on the season you require them, as autumn is generally well stocked. 

​

The breeding stocks are kept in separate large pens to prevent cross breeding, and the remainder of the chickens are free range with very large areas to roam. They also have houses stocked with straw and perches that they enter freely to sleep. The straw used and regularly replenished is from the farm.
